It's pretty simple really; if you have a Pay monthly contract with O2 (I don't) then go for O2 Broadband.

If you don't (that's me!) go for Be!

The cost of line rental plus landline calls isnt that much when you consider the added set-up costs of other broadband providers I could care to mention...

Of course, the cost of this will invariably go down as and when BT announce their next line rental price cut.

That's a lot of sign ups by 2010 for a product which isn't even in the market place and the launch keeps getting dealyed. Surely there will be the usual teething problems with it as well.

Should be an interesting debut within the broadband sector for O2 broadband although they do have experince with Be broadband. Let's just see what happens.....

I have to say the lack of fixed line calls is why I didn't sign up with Be and why I won't be swayed by O2 Broadband, even tho I'm on a pretty good mobile contract with them.

I guess if you're on an O2 contract, it would be worth checking out. 20Mbps broadband (if it works) and evening calls courtesy of BT for under £30 isn't that bad, but after all the hype, I was expecting a bit more.
