The home hub sounds just the ticket but because i signed up approx 3/4 weeks ago when asking if i could have one the answer was because i was only on a basic fee i had to pay over 80 pounds so do not think they want to keep my custom. Very disappointed with the whole issue.
Good customer relations! I dont think! I have been with BT re my phone for over 30 years time to move on.

All the BT services offer 'up to' 8 meg, but I don't know about them guaranteeing speeds unless this is some sort of new policy they've not yet announced to the press.

Just out of interest Malcolm, who will you be going to?

The Xbox news is indeed pretty sweet, they'll want to compete with the PlayStaion 3's Freeview-style service which should be launched this summer.

Maybe BT should set up a return policy for old Hubs. Cluttering up the landscape like old washing machines...

Every time I move house, BT lose the paperwork, start a new contract and send me another BT Home Hub. I have several now. I wonder if these will be the new AOL CD? :)

Also I've noticed my Home Hub is terribly light, there can't be much in there. I imagine the slimline version is just a smaller box with the same stuff inside it.

Great news for Xbox owners though!
