The mass debate over UK Members of Parliament’s expenses claims have been brought into sharp relief with the recent revelation that much loved and respected Home Secretary Jacqui Smith ‘mistakenly’ claimed the cost of two adult films along with her Virgin Media broadband connection.
Apparently, the Home Sec claimed that it was pretty difficult to tell the difference between the broadband and digital TV parts on the Virgin Media bill. In a statement given to the press, the schadenfrau said: “I’m sorry that in claiming for my internet connection, I mistakenly claimed for a television package alongside it.”
Well, we’ve had a look at a copy of a typical Virgin Media broadband and TV bill, and it’s really not that hard to tell the difference at all. To make it even easier for Jacqui, we’ve helpfully underlined the two parts of the bill pertaining to TV and broadband respectively.

Implications of this revelation notwithstanding, if it emerges that you can’t read a simple bill, it doesn’t speak volumes about one’s general competence. We appreciate that having a second home paid for by everybody else must be really stressful, but this is taking the proverbial.
Virgin Media telly can be bundled with the L, XL, and XXL broadband packages, along with a Virgin Media phone line. With every Virgin Media TV package, you can also sign up for a variety of XXX adult entertainment.
Playboy TV, Television X and The Adult Channel are all available for £11.00 a month each or you can sign up for all three for just £17.00 a month. Access to all of the above plus 100 Babes, Spice Extreme and Red Hot Amateur, Just 18, Raw and 40+ are also available on a one-off £5 pay per view basis.
