BT Broadband: Free broadband from 5th of November

bt_visionBT is looking to celebrate bonfire night with a bang with an explosive triple-play broadband offer. From the 5th of November to the 11th of December, customers ordering BT Vision plus BT voice calls with their BT Broadband package will qualify for three months of free broadband.

This could save you up to £55.78 off of the cost of your BT Broadband contract (based on BT Broadband Option 3; 20Mbps top speeds unlimited downloads £18.58 a month for the first three months) - pretty sparkling savings we think you’ll agree.

This BT Broadband offer is only available to customers who place an order for BT Vision plus BT voice calls along with any BT Broadband product online. Additionally, customers who already get phone calls with BT but want to add broadband and TV can save £45 by getting a free Vision+ BT Vision set top box bundled in with the deal. Customers should note that after the first three months, the standard (i.e. non-introductory) costs for BT Broadband services will apply.

BT is running scared of changes to the business rates regime that has protected it from open competition since it was privatised. Now the Conservatives have promised to review the whole sorry mess. http://www.computerweekly.com/Articles/2009/11/06/238458/tories-promise-to-review-broadband-tax.htm
