PlusNet – Out with the old, in with the new!
PlusNet have had a Spring clean and revamped their broadband products just in time for the Summer. From 12th April, the broadband provider will be offer three products – Value, Extra and Pro.
Prices will vary depending on where you live. For example, those who live in an area where BT is the only provider of broadband (Market 1) will be charged slightly more than those who live in area with more competition (Markets 2 and 3).
Their new product, PlusNet Extra replaces the existing Premium package. For only £11.49 per month you can get up to 20Mb broadband with 60GB of usage allowance. For customers in Market 1 or 2, Premium is just £11.49 for the first three months and then £17.99 thereafter. Whilst customers living in the Market 3 area will remain on the lower price.
PlusNet Value offers customers up to 8Mb broadband for only £6.49 a month for the first 3 months and £12.99 thereafter. Customers living in Markets 2 and 3 will remain on £6.49 a month.
This market based pricing will now also apply on the PlusNet Pro package. Customers can get up to 20Mb broadband for the starting price of £16.49. Again, those living in Markets 2 and 3 will continue to pay this, but anyone living in Market 1 will move to monthly payments of £22.99 after the first 3 months.
This move from PlusNet is showing their continued effort to improve the services that they offer. With them now able to reach speeds of 20Mb their packages are certainly attractive!
