Yeh not bad, reliable connections all the time, speed npt great but until fibre optic cable get rolled out nationwide, this is always going to be the case. Fast enough for downloads, gaming and watching vids on YouTube so its fine for general net use, things like Facebook etc.

Been with BT since the old days of dial-up. Except for once in my flat where I'm living now, the old occupants already had set up the broadband and it was with Virgin ADSL (not Cable) which was awful, and so we changed up to BT as soon as the contact ran out. There's enough usage for all 4 of us, and we can all connect easily. We live a way away from the exchange, and so speeds arent ever going to be great, but the connection is more reliable once we changed back to BT.

BT Broadband are pretty reliable and always seem to be able to sort out problems Ive had. They send out engineers and seem to know what they are talking about, unlike other broadband companies Ive signed up with in the past. The home hub is great we have 3 computers in the house and 1 of them is a laptop, have no problem getting connected, all of us at once.

In general bt broadband is much the same as any other provider but when it comes to customer service its really pretty bad.

I recently had a problem which happened when the security software was changed from norton to macafee. The helpline could not sort it out, this was after nearly 12 hours on the phone to people who I'm sure were nice but they did not speak the same language as i did. In the end they put me through to the bt it help line for which i had to sign a contract for 3 months a over £9 per month and i was already paying for option 3.

The solution was to ditch macafee and use the free avg anti virus and other free security software, i don't have the problems any more and bt is losing my money as i have reduced to option 1. Mind you their complaints department, if you can ever get their contact details must have a policy of only answering 1 letter as i'm sill waiting for a reply to my 2nd letter. to put it in a nutshell pretty bad service, i will be leaving as soon as i can.

The service is good ( hardware and connection)!

The customer service though is shocking. From my experience you wait for ages on the phone to speak to people who are clueless, you are bounced form from one service to another (and of course they cannot transfer you, you have to dial another number and queue again etc..) - sorry to say that it is also difficult to understand what they are saying.
