BT Broadband Total Broadband - Option 1
BT Broadband Option 1 is the standard package from BT Broadband and is an excellent deal for families and casual users. Option 1 allows for connection speeds of up to 20Mbps, includes free email addresses for every member of your household, McAfee Standard Security and unlimited free Wi-Fi minutes.
There is a download limit of 10GB which is more than enough for people's general web browsing needs, such as emailing, shopping, instant messaging etc. However more frequent users may find this restrictive and may want to sign up for one of BT's higher-end packages.
The new BT Home Hub 2.0 is also included free, exclusively for BT Broadband subscribers who sign up for Option 1 online. Improvements over the original BT Home Hub include an extended signal range, and improved security settings.
BT Broadband Option 1 12 month plan costs £15.99 per month throughout the duration of the contract.
