After many unhappy attempts to find the perfect UK broadband provider i think i have finally found her !!

I Applied for standard 02 broadband at £12.50 a month, this was a 'upto 8mb' Package with a free wireless router and setup within a week. After 4 days i recieved the router, and although advised by o2 not to, i plugged it in. Amazingly my broadband was on already.

I speed checked it at various online testing sites and my D/L speeds were hitting 6mb , my uploads were getting just under 2mb.

I then tested the speeds by downloading files from rapidshare servers, actual 4mb p/s download speeds were achieved, i was amazed as i have been so used to getting crappy 200kb/s speeds for years !!

To top it all off i got a letter the other day advising me that my package has now been reduced for pas as you go customers aswell as pay monthly cunstomers.

My package was reduced to £7.50 a month !!!!! Just because i have a o2 pay as you go phone !! Cooooooooolllll !!!

This means if you want the £7.50 a month broadband just sign up using any pay as you go o2 number and instantly recieve the discount !!!!!

Looked around for broadband without line rental that was available on my line and far and away the best deal was with O2 Broadband at just £12.50 per month with free connection and a free box (not got a pay monthly account with O2 to get £7.50). Sign up process could not have been easier and got set up with functioning broadband in only 5 days. Result! O2 Broadband is speedy and they communicate well with text messages throughout the set up process.
