Sky Broadband Mid is the medium-range Broadband service, providing a much faster up to 8Mbps connection speed as well as supplying users with a huge 40GB downloading cap. The connection fee for Mid is also less than that of the Base service, being priced at £20. On top of however much you are paying for your TV, there is an additional £5 monthly charge for this service.



With Mid you get the same extras as before, a wireless router, 10 free Sky.com email addresses, and a free 12 months use of a security program for whichever computer platform you use, and the same exclusive Sky sports, movies and entertainment content.



Sky Broadband Mid is more suited for busier families and heavier users who will enjoy the faster downloading speeds and the greater freedom afforded by the increased monthly cap.

Max is the high-end Sky Broadband package. A £10 extra monthly subscription on top of your TV rates offers a very fast top download speed of 16Mbps, double the premium rates on offer from most other ISPs. Users can also take advantage of the unlimited download amount on offer.



All of the extras included in the other Sky Broadband packages are here, the exclusive sports/movies/entertainment content, 12 months free use of a McAfee security package for either PC or Mac, up to 10 email addresses for Sky.com, and a free wireless router. There also is no additional activation fee for the service.



Sky Broadband Max is the perfect package for users who demand fast secure access and want to download without any restrictions.


One-off standard set up cost of £30 applies for any combination of Sky products when you join Sky TV as a new customer online. Set up is £120 for non-Sky digital subscribers. Sky Talk is free of set up costs. Non-standard set up may cost extra.
