TalkTalk is the home phone and broadband solution from the Carphone Warehouse, providing customers everything they need to get set up and get online for less, with the new myTalkTalk product. Having previously caused a stir in the ISP market with their revolutionary free broadband offer, TalkTalk are once again taking a lead in the market with myTalkTalk, which allows you to pay for what you want, not what you don't. With myTalkTalk, you start with the bare necessities; TalkTalk Broadband Essentials gives you speeds of up to 8Mbps and a 40GB monthly download limit along with unlimited Evening & Weekend calls (01, 02 and 03 numbers and now 0870 and 0845 numbers) for just £6.99 a month so you don't pay for services you either already have (like security software and firewall subscriptions) or might not necessarily want to have all the time (like extra downloads or anytime calls). TalkTalk Broadband Boosts are available from £2 a month:

Super Secure Boost (£2 a month): TalkTalk Online Security is provided by F-Secure, and allows you to safeguard up to three PCs at once.

International Boost (£2 a month): Anytime landline calls to 36 international destinations.

Mobile Saver Boost (£2 a month): Get a 50 per cent discount on those calls and save a bundle. A connection fee of 7p applies to all calls.

Calling Features Boost (£4 a month): Add additional voice call options such as Three Way Calling, Call Waiting, Call Diversion, Ringback, and Reminder.

Turbo Boost (£4 a month): if your phone line is capable of speeds faster than 8Mbps, then adding the TalkTalk Turbo Boost could improve the performance of your connection, up to a theoretical maximum of 24Mbps.

Mega Download Boost (£4 a month): doubles your monthly download limit from 40GB to 80GB – ideal for families.

Anytime UK Calls (£4 a month): Chat whenever you like with unlimited calls to UK landlines (beginning with 01, 02 and 03 as well as 0870/0845) for up to 60 mins at a time.

The best thing about TalkTalk Broadband Boosts is that there is no long-term obligation – you add them to your TalkTalk Broadband Essentials as and when you see fit, and can cancel them at any time.

we apparently have 8MB Broadband but it think a dial up line is faster ! when check on a how fast is your broadband site off google reads at like 2mbps

I'M ONLY 1 MILE FROM THE EXCHANGE AND CAN REACH A DOWNLOAD SPEED BETWEEN 7 TO 10 MEG. HAVE ISSUES AT TIMES WHERE I CANT ALWAYS GET ONLINE, CUSTOMER CARE IS A WASTE OF TIME. YOU CAN SPEND 2 HOURS BETWEEN PEOPLE AND STILL GET NO RESULT. WHEN THEY ARE CONFUSED IVE OVER THE TWO YEARS HAD STAFF TERMINATE THE CALL FOR NO REASON. HOWEVER GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY, YOU GET A LITTLE MORE THAN WHAT YOU PAY FOR. AFTER ALL ITS PRETTY MUCH FREE.

Im currently enjoying NOT paying through the nose for my internet and phone calls! On the Anytime plan which gives me unlimited calls to UK landlines whenever, and we get a good connection here, been with TalkTalk for nearly a year now, no worries just great savings…
