save £££ with Tiscali

I joined Tiscali last year, and I cant say I regret doing so. Thanks to the Option 2 broadband we get a smooth internet service and free anytime calls to UK landlines. Joining Tiscali has made a considerable difference to our monthly outgoings – we now have some extra cash on the side to spend on other things because you don't pay BT A SINGLE PENNY, as line rental is included in the total monthly cost!

£20 a month for phone and broadband + £0 for line rental = big savings.

Yes, their customer service is poor, but thankfully I've only had to call them once. If you want to save £££ on your monthly bills, then I suggest you give Tiscali a call.

Tiscali - fine when all is well

Hi
I feel compelled to make prospective customers aware of the dreadful customer service offered by Tiscali. I joined in 2005 and was happy with the speed etc. Then in January 2008 it all fell apart. Like so many companies these days they are fine when you are setting up and all is going well. however, the measure of any company is how it deals with problems.

I'm afraid to say that once a minor problem sets in you must prepare for no broadband service, internal departments not talking to each other, quite a lot of frustration - bordering on anger, technobabble bull, ineffective and disinterested staff, and a long time phoning many different 0871 numbers.

In the end I gave up, cancelled my account and went to BT - How bad is that!

I have not left any review before, and I feel an idiot as I recommended Tiscali to many of my friends and even my Mother - sorry Mum!
