AOL offers free PS3 with broadband

AOL offers free PS3 with broadband AOL UK has launched an offer through which subscribers to its wireless broadband service can get a PlayStation 3 for free.

Web users who sign up to the ISP's Broadband Wireless Plus package will get the console, along with a wireless controller and a copy of the newest Ratchet & Clank game, for free, with the gifts being theirs to keep for as long as they stay with AOL Broadband.

The AOL Broadband Wireless Plus service comes with a download speed of up to 8 Mbps, a 40 Gb download allowance, a free wireless router worth £50, the AOL Talk Pay As You Go phone plan and wireless security features.

However, subscribers should be aware that the offer is only available in certain areas and that a minimum contract of 24 months is required.

AOL is currently also offering a free Dell laptop for those who switch to its wireless broadband service, with a similar 24-month contract needed.
