BT Total Broadband customers have been given a new way to keep up with what TV shows, movies and features are available on its digital broadcasting service, it has emerged.

The company has announced the launch of My Vision, a short programme hosted by Tamzin Outhwaite which seeks to keep users of BT Vision in the loop about what is currently showing.

Viewers will be led through the former Eastenders star's favourite films and shows as well as some of the other content available from the service's catalogue of on-demand online content.

Commenting on the new programme, which is exclusive to BT Total Broadband users, Outhwaite said she hoped to help those looking to curl up in front of their TV over the coming months.

"With nights in being the new night out, My Vision provides a quick and easy way of planning the perfect night of entertainment with a snapshot of exciting programmes and films available on BT Vision this spring," she explained.

Michael Barry, head of content for the service, added the show would also be useful as a way to wade through the large amount of choice consumers have at their fingertips. "My Vision is a quick and easy way to help viewers looking for something new to watch," he concluded.

Some of the shows currently listed that Tamzin has highlighted include movies such as Tropic Thunder and Hunger, as well as US TV series The Wire.

Following her stint as Melanie Healy in the London-based soap opera, Outhwaite appeared as Sergeant Jo McDonagh in the BBC military drama Red Cap.
