Warning to heavy broadband users

Broadband provider Virgin Media has sent letters to some of its customers considered to have the heaviest usage, according to a report by vnunet.com.
The letters are being served as a reminder of the company's traffic management policies, which could interest those looking for the best broadband deal.
In a statement, Virgin Media said: "As part of this educational exercise we are letting customers know what the changes mean to them, and why they may see their speeds reduced for short periods at certain times of the day."
