Broadband users have helped to make a success of a young internet show maker, whose debut is now the tenth most watched internet programme of all time.

Nick Jones is now looking to expand his portfolio, reports the Worcester News, and is looking for financial backing to build on his initial success on the internet.

"It was very slow to start with and then suddenly it just took off," the 28-year-old explained, adding that the first episode has been watched over one million times.

After leaving the King's School in Worcester, Mr Jones co-produced The London Affair which told the tale of seven characters finding their way through life in the capital.

He has since produced 100 more episodes of the internet hit, which is available to view by broadband users.

Last year, broadband provider Orange announced it was working with Bafta to encourage young filmmakers with a competition to produce a 60-second film. Anyone aged over 16 can enter.
