Bebo bought by AOL

Broadband users who enjoy using social networking site Bebo may be interested to know that it has been bought by AOL for $850 million (£417 million).
It is believed that 40 million internet users are members of Bebo, making it the third-most popular networking site in the US and the ninth most popular in the world, according to a ComScore survey in January.
However, the BBC reported that 1.6 per cent of rival site Facebook was bought by Microsoft for $240 million.
European internet analyst for Nielsen Online Alex Bumaster told the corporation that he was not surprised that AOL was following in Microsoft's steps.
"Bebo has an incredibly strong brand identity, particularly with the teenage and young adult market, so it will be very interesting to see how AOL makes best use of their new youthful Trojan horse," said Mr Burmaster.
Meanwhile, the Western Mail has reported that there are calls for school children in south Wales to be taught how to use social networking sites, to avoid putting themselves in danger.
