Those looking for a home broadband deal could check out what BT has to offer, after it announced a new package starting at a monthly price of £15.65.
Customers of the Total Broadband set-up can achieve speeds of up to 8MB wirelessly with this product, the company announced.
It also offers 1GB mobile broadband per month, giving consumers a total price of £308.08 over a year and a half. This is £125 cheaper than the nearest competitor, according to BT.
Managing director of the group's consumer division John Petter said this was "fantastic".
"The most complete home and mobile broadband for only 56p a day is a no-brainer. Now you can use broadband wherever you are without worrying about the cost," he added.
Mr Petter also highlighted all of the potential uses for internet wherever you are, such as on trains, in coffee shops and for watching YouTube clips.
Meanwhile, BT Business announced earlier this month it was to introduce the Samsung C6625 handset.
This offers BT Talk Time and is powered by Windows Mobile, meaning those on the go can keep up to date with work.
The company said users can benefit from a range of different applications, email synchronisation and access to Microsoft's Office package.
Bill Murphy, managing director of BT Business, said the partnership with Samsung and Microsoft was a crucial step for helping small businesses.
