Domain name sold for $2.6m

Broadband users have again been shown the potential power of domain names, as pizza.com gets sold for $2.6 million (£1.3 million), reports the BBC.
The domain had been held for $20 per year by Maryland businessman Chris Clark, who bought the name when the internet was launched in 1994.
He told the Baltimore Sun paper: "It's crazy, it's just crazy. It will make a significant difference in my life, for sure."
Mr Clark auctioned the domain name after hearing about the lucrative sale of vodka.com, a sign of the increasing business gravitas of the internet and broadband.
In 2006, the BBC reported that many people had invested in websites ending with the .eu domain, which were released in April of that year.
Any broadband users who feel their domain name could be valuable may wish to auction it off. Mr Clark said he regretted not buying more names in the 1990s.
