Entanet joins BT's high-speed trial
(Friday, 26th October 2007)
Broadband service provider Entanet has announced it is to give customers in the Birmingham area the opportunity to join BT's new high-speed broadband trial.
BT will be trialling a new increased 24 Mb internet connection as part of its fast wholesale broadband connect (WBC) service.
Until now, only BT customers in a select number of regions have been able to apply for the trial scheme, which will start next month, ISPreview.co.uk reports.
Now, Entanet has joined the scheme which will, along with faster broadband speeds, allow customers to make voice calls over their internet connection.
Carol Davies from Entanet told the news provider: "We're looking for trialists regardless of whether they're currently connected via Entanet or not. The 250 places available to Entanet, BT Wholesale and BT Retail on the trial are being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so you need to move fast if you want to be included."
Entanet was founded in 1996 and is based in Telford.
