Gadgets to 'enhance the broadband experience'

Having a broadband connection can be a great way to keep in touch with the world as well as shop, learn and even make money, but a new blog post has looked at a number of other ways it can be enjoyed.
In a guest article for TalkTalk's online thoughts page, Trusted Reviews news editor and technology expert Gordon Kelly has listed a number of gadgets now available that can enhance the internet experience.
He explains that there are a wealth of toys and electronic items currently on the market that claim to do different things, but the writer has instead focused on just a few.
When it comes to mp3 players, there are some obvious choices out there. But Mr Kelly notes that some of the most portable, low-cost audio options around do not necessarily come from Apple.
He highlights the "cheap and cheerful" SanDisk Sansa Clip, which has a screen of its own and an FM radio tuner - unlike the aforementioned company's iPod Shuffle - and is available with 8 GB of storage for £39. The 4 GB version comes at a price of £29, undercutting its Apple-branded rival by £30.
"Ladies and gentlemen we know where most people's money goes, but this is where you put the smart money," Mr Kelly says.
Those looking for a professional digital camera that is also compact were recommended the Olympus Pen E-P1 - which boasts high definition video recording and starts at £599.99. "Right now there is nothing else like it," the expert claims.
When it comes to laptops, there are a number of low-cost netbooks that will appeal to many, but the blogger adds that for under £300, the Samsung NC10 may be the one to consider.
"It may not be the most beautiful, but the NC10 is superbly built, features a fantastic keyboard, bright screen and outstanding battery life," Mr Kelly concludes.
