Heathrow is T-Mobile's largest indoor Wi-Fi spot

Heathrow is T-Mobile's largest indoor Wi-Fi spot T-Mobile has announced that it has implemented its Wi-Fi technology into Terminal Five at Heathrow Airport to create its largest Wi-Fi Hotspot.

Spanning an area the size of 50 football pitches, the zone is now the largest of its sort in the UK, reports ISP Review.

It is available to all visitors to the airport and offers speeds up to 8 Mbps without a USB stick needed.

Those who are not customers of the internet service provider can use the service for £5 for one hour of access and £10 for a full day.

Subscribers to T-Mobile voice plans can set up an account and pay through their monthly bills at 75p for ten minutes.

T-Mobile currently offers mobile broadband for £10 each month for the first 90 days and £15 a month thereafter.

For this, users get a free USB modem stick and have unlimited internet access with no run-on rates.
