Make improvements to computers before throwing away

While broadband customers can consider changing their connection to the fastest deal, they may also need to consider upgrading their computer.
Advice issued by The TechGuys suggests that many people could upgrade their PC rather than undertaking the drastic, and environmentally unfriendly, step of throwing it away.
Tim Fairs commented on behalf of The TechGuys: "I think a lot of people, who because of ignorance are not aware that all these services are available, just put up with things. And over time it gets worse."
He added that undertaking an annual health check could help PCs run at an optimum level, which could help users make the most of fast broadband connections.
It has been revealed by the group that the disposal of electrical and electronic waste is the fastest growing waste stream within the UK while, according to the UN, the manufacture of a computer takes ten times its weight in fossil fuels and chemicals.
