Users of both mobile and home broadband searching for the best deal may wish to consider O2, which has revitalised its list of offers recently.
The telecommunications firm is now providing the Light Mobile Broadband package free of charge for 90 days to customers who sign up to an 18-month deal.
At just £150 for the full term, or £8.33 a month, Light Mobile Broadband may be one of the most affordable deals currently on the market.
O2 also makes an effort to add extra incentives to the offer - such as unlimited WiFi, a free modem worth £20 and the chance to sign up to home broadband for an extra £5 a month.
Those content to do their web browsing from the comfort of home rather than on the go may be interested in O2's new home broadband rates.
The company says it will give anybody currently signed up to one of its mobile phone contracts £50 credit if they also confirm their use of home broadband.
Home broadband with O2 typically costs £10 a month and offers speeds of around 20Mb.
A wireless router and security software can also be attained, while O2's Pro Package - which includes an enhanced router and 500 texts - is available for £17.50.
Telecommunications provider SIRODA recently carried out extensive research on mobile broadband speeds across the UK and concluded that O2 was fastest in London and several other cities.
The results showed the average time taken to access a web page via O2 mobile broadband connections was 1.7 seconds.
