Having fun by using a broadband connection to browse social networking sites could help graduates find work, according to Graduate Prospects.
Publishing director Jayne Rowley has spoken about the way the attitudes of the Facebook generation could change the way employers find the best workers in the future.
Ms Rowley explained: "As the social networks extend their reach in to professional areas, the Facebook generation will feel entirely comfortable engaging with employers in this way in the future."
She added that younger people searching for work after university should look at all available resources in order to boost their chances of getting on to the career ladder.
It was revealed by the Higher Education Statistics Agency that there were 2,362,815 enrollments at universities and colleges for the academic year 2006/7 - many of whom could benefit from using their broadband connection to job hunt on graduation.
