Star broadband package for businesses

UK businesses looking to upgrade their current broadband package as they seek to keep up with the latest advancements might take an interest in a new range from internet service provider Star.
The company, which specialises in offering broadband services for businesses, has announced a new product offering connection speeds of up to 24Mbps.
As well as receiving access to the internet with unlimited downloads and no setup fee, those who subscribe to the package will benefit from a 24-hour support service offering high levels of customer care.
Hugo Harber, head of convergence and network strategy at Star, said the service stands out from those offered by other high-speed broadband providers because it is the first to be dedicated solely to UK businesses.
"It's an important distinction which means that the customer not only gets access to the fast speeds available over the network, but they also have the reassurance of support from a team who understand their specific business requirements and can respond quickly whenever they are needed," he added.
Star claims the service will be available to around 40 per cent of the country by next month, with prices starting from £39.99 a month.
UK internet service provider Pipex launched its own business broadband package earlier this month aimed at catering for the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Pipex Pro Enhanced Upstream service starts from £19.50 a month and offers download speeds of up to 16Mbps, as well as 2.5Mbps upstream speeds that Pipex claims are up to six times faster than those offered by basic ADSL-based broadband packages.
