The UK's most Googled words revealed

The UK's most Googled words revealed The internet search site Google has released a list of the most searched for terms in the UK, broken down by city.

The Google Zeitgeist report shows that while those in Farnborough search for "love," those in Sheffield are regularly looking for "baby". Other terms popping up around the country include "holidays," "Xmas" and "Gordon Brown".

Explaining the report, Google said: "What you see here is a cumulative snapshot of interesting queries people are asking - over time, within country domains, and some on Google.com - that perhaps reveal a bit of the human condition."

The Telegraph today examined the results, which broke down the most searched for item in various categories, including most loved, hated and cheapest with Hulk Hogan gaining the most googled divorce.

Earlier this month the Yahoo! Buzz list was announced, which revealed the top ten lists for a variety of subjects from troubled stars to the environment.
