Tips for switching offered

Those considering making the switch to a different broadband suppliers could be interested in advice offered by Thisismoney.co.uk that may help ease the transition between companies.
Some customers may find their old broadband company continues to bill them - an issue the financial website explains can be prevented by checking contract length and demanding a letter which details the end of service provision and the date of the last bill.
Broadband customers are also advised that any complaints that cannot be solved should be reported to Ofcom, so users can switch without worrying about paying double.
Earlier in the year the website urged customers to consider changing broadband company if they felt their connection was too slow and much less than the advertised speed of the service.
Issues such as how close a telephone exchange is, usage in the area and age of telephone lines were all said to affect broadband speeds - but that customers should select the best service to suit their needs.
