BT launch Communications Complete

Thursday 24th January 2008, by Daniel King

BT has announced the launch of a new system for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which offers features such as increased integration between phone, IT and broadband services.

SMEs could use the new Communications Complete system, which has been launched in conjunction with Cisco, to allow call centre capabilities, aid remote working and unified messaging.

Managing director of BT Business Bill Murphy said: "The delivery model brings lower IT and communications costs and improved business resilience."

Business broadband users could be interested to know that a survey by BT showed that 85 per cent of SMEs "needs to be more agile" while 58 per cent see IT and communications as an integral way of improving business agility.

Broadband users can go to the BT website, where its Business Game challenges players to deal with social and environmental issues that may affect a small business, including a team version for group training.
