There are "significant rewards" to be gained by searching around for the broadband package that most suits an individual's particular needs, it has been claimed.
According to ConsumerChoices.co.uk, taking a few minutes to secure the best deal can save money and grant peace of mind.
Broadband contract packages are a good idea if the consumer has no intention of moving house for a while.
Madasafish, for example, offers 8 mbps broadband for £9.99 per month for six months and £14.99. This includes free connection. A free wireless networking kit for 12 months is also available.
"Broadband contracts are likely to be 12 months or more, which is great if you're going to be in your residence for this long," said a spokesperson for the website.
Meanwhile, a new study from Point Topic has concluded that bundled broadband packages offer customers a better deal than standalone broadband.
The average price of a bundled broadband package with VoIP is £25.17 per month. The average standalone broadband tariff is£29.71 a month.
