New orange mobile broadband prices for business users

Friday 8th May 2009, by Daniel King

Business broadband users may be interested to hear Orange has announced changes to its pricing structure on mobile packages.

The network has revealed companies with existing voice packages that subscribe to its Business Everywhere mobile broadband between May 1st and July 31st could be enjoying the most cost-effective services around.

Firms getting onboard can expect discounts of up to 50 per cent - which could mean unlimited portable web access from £7.50 a month.

Commenting on the announcement, Orange's vice-president of business in the UK Paul Tollet said the move was in answer to the growing popularity of mobile services across the UK alongside a business need to have a package that is good value.

"Not only have our price plans been restructured to help make mobile broadband even more affordable, but a fresh range of three new devices offer a more secure, accessible and hassle-free way of working on the move."

These products are the ZTE MF636 dongle, the Huawei E870 PC Express Card and Option's GX301 PCMCIA Card.

Orange also noted that any new subscribers it receives during this three-month period will enjoy a £5 discount on their bill - allowing unlimited access from £10 a month.

The network announced this week that it would be forming partnerships with eight charities including the Alzheimer’s Society, Barnardo's, Guide Dogs for the Blind, the NSPCC and the Samaritans.
