Orange to launch new router
Web users unable to utilise an ADSL broadband connection are set to benefit from a new router being launched by Orange.
The Flybox has an integrated SIM card and allows customers to obtain a broadband link via a Wi-Fi connection within three kilometres of the exchange, Pocket-lint.co.uk reports.
Due to be launched in Spain in January, the router will hit the UK later in 2008 and will provide speeds of up to 1 Mbps, as well as a voice line and networking capabilities.
The router is a similar offering to Orange's Livebox wireless modem, which has a connection speed of up to 8 Mbps, provides inclusive voice calls and allows subscribers to connect up to six PCs at any one time.
Earlier this month, the company announced that it had formed a deal with wireless web provider The Cloud to boost its network of Wi-Fi hotspots across the UK.

depending on the quality of your line, the wiring in your house, the
time of day and even the weather.
