New business broadband for SMEs

New business broadband for SMEs Pipex has announced a range of business broadband options designed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

At the launch of the new services, the product and marketing director of Pipex Lance Spencer explained that only 23 per cent of companies use business-grade ADSL.

Mr Spencer said: "The need for service reliability and quality support could not be more important for this sector."

The services are backed by a support centre, with a range of options from Pipex Lite, to packages for heavier users who can opt for minimum bandwidths of 500 Kbps.

One unique feature offered by Pipex is the Enhanced Care option, available on some packages, which offers a guarantee that faults will be fixed within ten working hours, or customers will be given a refund of that month's rental.

Pipex Business claims to have "one of the UK's most extensive communication networks" as well as permanently-manned data centres.
