Sky Broadband rated highly by consumers

Sky Broadband has been named as the best provider of high-speed internet connections in the UK.
The firm beat competitors such as TalkTalk and Virgin Media in a survey of customers by Broadband Choices and Point Topic, reports ISPreview.
Internet users were asked to rate their provider on a number of criteria, including the quality and stability of the service they receive.

Sky now offering "truly unlimited" service

Sky has announced that it will be removing the Fair Usage Policy from its Max product.
The company offers the package for an extra £10 each month for those who applied to its satellite television service.
Speeds of up to 16 Mbps can be achieved by subscribers and the company's unbundled package will now offer them limitless browsing and downloads.

Sky Broadband forced to delay new package

BSkyB has announced that it is being forced to delay the release of Sky Broadband's Picnic service.
The company stated that Ofcom has not granted the firm approval for the service which offers subscribers Freeview, phone and broadband, reports ISP Review.
Sky has already had to put back the release of the product and now attributes the further delays to Ofcom's reluctance to speed up the process.
