Tiscali announces price cuts

Tiscali announces price cuts Broadband provider Tiscali has announced it is reducing the cost of its 1 Mbps product.

The firm is cutting the price of the product to £7.99 for the first three months, with consumers paying £12.99 per month each month after.

Meanwhile, current customers of Tiscali's network could find that they are entitled to free line rental as an incentive to get more people to sign up to bundles of home phone and broadband services.

Website UK-Bug.net reports that this will be good news for many consumers who will find that they save about £100 compared with a similar bundle where free line rental is not offered.

The move is becoming increasingly popular among broadband local loop unbundling suppliers, the website adds.

Tiscali recently announced that it would be teaming up with Universal Pictures to offer a service allowing consumers to receive movies on demand through Tiscali TV.
