Broadband firm Tiscali has announced the addition of a new service to its car-dedicated website channel.

Visitors to tiscali.co.uk will be able to browse the new Motoring Channel - which receives 1.5 million hits a month - and search a range of new and used cars through ads provided by Auto Trader.

The service has been integrated into the website to allow users to search for their favoured motor using Auto Trader's own options without leaving the Tiscali website.

"Car purchasing is increasingly moving from the showroom to the website and the popularity of our motoring channel reflects this growing trend," commented Alex Hole, online media director at Tiscali UK.

Earlier this year, Tiscali launched a new channel featuring celebrity news and gossip from around the globe in partnership with the World Entertainment News Network, as well as a new holiday section with travel agent Thomas Cook.
