Virgin Media reveals internet and broadband EU passes

Virgin Media has announced that from £6 a day mobile phone users can enjoy all-day internet access,
Its new range of Travel Passes also allow Virgin Media customers to pay from £10 to access mobile broadband when abroad in the EU.
Those who want to get their hands on all-day mobile broadband access while in the EU have four options to choose from, depending on what they plan to do with their time online.
For £10 ten MB can be purchased, £15 buys 15 MB for three days worth of access and seven days of data standing at 30 MB can be bought for £30.
In order to activate their mobile broadband pass, customers text BUY and the pass name to 23456.
"Whether it's searching for the best pizzeria in Rome on your mobile or uploading photos on to Facebook with a laptop and mobile broadband, customers now have control over what they spend on holiday," explains Jonathan Kini, director of mobile at Virgin Media.
But there are also deals to be had for individuals who need regular access to the internet.
Virgin Media mobile internet EU Travel Passes can be got hold of the same way as the broadband options and cost £4 for a one-hour session and £6 for a 24-hour window.
Mr Kini states: "Virgin Media customers never have to worry about accessing the internet while they're abroad."
The internet company is also carrying out work at home.
It recently said its marketing agencies had enabled Virgin Media to set it apart as the leading ultrafast broadband provider ahead of its competitors.
Virgin Media offers 50 Mbps to 12 million households in Britain.
