Vodafone data confidentiality could be best on the market

One of Vodafone's leading mobile broadband security products - Secure Remote Access - has been named as the latest recipient of the Communications Electronics Security Group's (CESG's) Claims Tested Mark (CCTM).

The CCTM allows organisations, foundations and government bodies to recognise Vodafone as a provider of secure communications with a high rate of confidentiality and integrity.

It also shows that Secure Remote Access has undergone stringent independent testing and met government standards.

Some may now consider Secure Remote Access as the ideal product with which to protect their work using mobile broadband.

Jonathan Rutherford, head of enterprise and public sector marketing at Vodafone, said: "Vodafone Secure Remote Access is designed to allow organisations to reap all the benefits of flexible working while making sure that data is protected and security policies are fully adhered to.

"We believe that it has enormous potential for ensuring the success of mobile working initiatives across the public sector."

CCTM Secretariat Peter Hayes explained that the CESG's stamp of approval would give mobile broadband users - particularly those working from home or on the move - a valuable and safe option.

Vodafone is the first mobile operator to be awarded the prestigious status.

The CCTG mark verifies that people using Vodafone Secure Remote Access will be connecting to a mobile broadband point with the highest level of safety in place.

Vodafone has also recently released a signal-enhancing product which may be of interest to mobile broadband users wishing to maintain a faster and more reliable connection.
