A new mobile broadband package has been launched that has been noted as an ideal solution for those looking to get someone the perfect web-based present.

T-Mobile said its new three and 12-month gift packs provide people with a new way to get online and pay for wireless connectivity to the internet - as they allow a one of payment to be made that gives unlimited browsing to the user.

Priced at £44.03 and £146.79 respectively, the network also stated savings of over 25 per cent could be made on its own comparable mobile broadband options when bought in this way.

It was explained the announcement was also representative of T-Mobile's tradition for bringing innovative products to the market in the form of an option that is "a perfect present to help someone stay in touch".

As well as allowing people the opportunity to "email, blog and chat online whenever they want", the operator said the 150 GB USB stick included in the package is available in a selection of designs that can be chosen with the recipient in mind.

Helen Wylde, head of pay-as-you-go marketing at the company, explained that the bundles provide access to an "award-winning" service, but also make life easier for those who want to get online.

"With a one-off cost up-front and our promise of no run-on rates for the person using their unlimited mobile broadband, it's the perfect present for friends or family," she concluded.

It was recently announced that T-Mobile's parent company Deutsche Telecom was in talks to merge the business with Orange in the UK.
