Our Be Broadband Review

A relative newcomer to the market, Be Broadband has established a good customer base with its incredibly fast 24Mbps connection. After a one-off fee for installation, consumers can choose between Be Value or Be Unlimited.

The Be Value package allows users to have unlimited downloads with a speed limit of 8Mbps.

Be Unlimited as it’s name suggests also has unlimited downloads, but with an ultra-fast (up to) 24Mbps connection. Extras such as email addresses and webspace (100Mbps) can be bought as an add-on with either of the packages.

Be Broadband is currently rolling out its superfast broadband service across the UK. Be's currently enjoys around 70% coverage across the UK, but this figure is rising rapidly.

"Even though I don't live close enough to the exchange to enjoy the theoretical maximum (I get about 8-10Mbps) the quality of the connection I have enjoyed since switching to Be has been remarkable – I used to get randomly disconnected for no reason, my speed would fluctuate between the maximum advertised and sub dial-up speeds. I guess sometimes you do get what you pay for."

"So I only can get 15Mbps on average, but who cares, still faster than what I was getting before. I waited for ages for Be Broadband to come to my area – not looking back now it's here!"

"This ISP is incredibly underrated. They have good, reliable, speeds, great customer service and are just an all round solid service. They may be a bit more expensive than other ISPs but it really is worth the extra cost for a no hassle reliable service."
