Our Eclipse Internet Review
Eclipse Internet is one of the newest and fastest growing broadband providers in the UK. Eclipse started out in 1995, providing internet connections across the country. Acquired by Kingston Communications in 2004, Eclipse has become a serious contender within the broadband market.
Eclipse Internet broadband packages allows customers to optimise their connection according to their individual online usage. You can prioritise web browsing, email, video or music streaming, VPN or gaming. Using a control panel, subscribers can change their connections settings at any time of day to suit their requirements. So you might want to stream music one day, and play games online the next, or opt for a balanced connection so that everyone in your home benefits from the same connection.
Whichever service customers choose, the first month with Eclipse Internet is free, there is no connection charge, and should users need one, a free router is included with every package (apart from Home Lite). Those wishing to switch to Eclipse from another ISP should note that Eclipse connects through a BT phoneline.

"I first brought my lap top about 4 years ago and have been with eclipse since then. I was on evolution option 2 which i was very happy with but last nov 09 changed my package to home select. i was a bit unhappy that because i had changed my package it meant i had to start a new 12 month contract but has i have no intention of leaving the best internet provider around. when you ring technical service you speak to one person for the entire call they dont make you feel stupid and there on line help is brillant. only prob with home select is the limit it put on you compared to evolution option 2. but i do recomend eclipse to everyone "

"I've been on Evolution 3 broadband for a couple of months now, connection is occasionally a bit up and down in the evenings, otherwise it's ok. I found the software quick and easy to install. I know that the so-called 'unlimited' usage isn't, but truth be told, I've not encountered any problems, or been told I'm downloading too much. On the one occasion I had to talk to them, customer service were polite and helpful, even if the phone calls took a while."
