"Sky broadband is good apart from the initial set up. You have to wait 10 days for connection and a further few days for all of your equipment if you connect your router yourself. Other than that I'm really pleased with the speed, connection and price!"

Every Sky broadband customer is offered up to 14Mb, or Megabits per second, download speed and up to 1.3Mb upload speed, but the actual speed, as with all providers, can vary. Switching to Sky
If you have a BT line rental, you will need to switch this to Sky which will make the monthly bills simpler you can then pick your broadband package. Make the order, and Sky will arrange for an engineer to visit at a convenient time, and your Sky Broadband should be up and running within a maximum of two weeks.
If you are switching from Virgin Media or TalkTalk, you may need to set up a new phone line and phone number with Sky, but this is a very simple process that won’t take too long. Remember that when you switch, you must be sure that your current provider does not have you tied in to a contract.
