Plusnet comes first in customer service charts

Plusnet is the most popular broadband provider when it comes to customer service, new charts have revealed.
In a poll of over 14,000 consumers, Plusnet was found to have the best customer service for both broadband and phone, with those who took the poll ranking them above seven other major UK providers.
68% of customers claimed that Plusnet’s customer service was “great”, with only 9% finding it poor.
The results come despite the fact that Plusnet recently announced that it was ending its 24/7 customer service for broadband customers.
There wasn’t good news for all broadband providers, however. TalkTalk ranked lowest in the poll, with 42% of customers claiming that its customer service was “poor”. EE did not fare much better in the poll, with the provider finding itself joint last with TalkTalk in the phone charts.
TalkTalk have hit back at the charts, saying that they did not reflect their data which showed that customer complaints had fallen. The provider also noted that many of the smaller UK providers had not been included in the poll, which could have affected the results.
In general, customer service response times have been found to be at their lowest, with customers getting through to a member of staff in less than ten seconds.
