Four packages will be available at speeds of 100Mb, 200Mb, 500Mb and 900Mb.
Vodafone has released quite a few new details regarding the upcoming rollout of their gigafast broadband scheme.
It’s been revealed that four different broadband packages will be available, boasting impressive top speeds of 100Mb, 200Mb, 500Mb and 900Mb respectively.
Each will come with a free home router, which is the company’s most powerful one yet, free installation and totally unlimited usage.
Existing Vodafone customers will also be entitled to money off their monthly bill.
The lightning-fast service, which is the result of Vodafone’s partnership with London-based provider CityFibre, became available to pre-order in Milton Keynes from 14th September after a successful trial was carried out there over the summer.
Installation is due to commence on 8th October and it’s predicted that everyone in the city will have access by 2020.
Aberdeen and Peterborough will be the next major UK cities to benefit from Vodafone’s gigafast service with Coventry, Edinburg, Huddersfield and Stirling set to follow in early 2019.
“Starting in Milton Keynes, we are helping people break free from the shackles of their old, copper-based broadband,” said Vodafone UK Chief Executive Nick Jeffery.
“With Gigafast Broadband, Vodafone is investing in best-in-class infrastructure for the UK, equipping the nation for the future.”
