What is the cheapest BT broadband package?

At the time of writing*, he cheapest BT broadband package available on Broadband Finder is Full Fibre 150, delivering 150Mbps download speeds on a 24-month contract for just £23.99 a month.

BT broadband deals for new customers

BT reserves its best deals for new customers, as a way to entice those over to choose its service over the competition - something all providers do.

New customers will find expansive offerings that feature the most money off and great inclusions for the duration of their first contract.

At the end of the contract, these savings will revert to their typical standard monthly cost. However, shortly before the contracts end, BT will contact you about renewing your package, usually at a special price. 

While not as low as the original new customer offer price, it does offer a saving over the standard full monthly cost.

Can you upgrade your broadband mid-contract?

Yes, you can upgrade your broadband anytime during your contract to higher speeds for an added monthly cost or downgrade to lower speeds for a lesser monthly cost.

Since you are upgrading and staying with BT rather than leaving for another provider, there typically is no early termination fee. You will, however, be starting a new contract, so you would be starting a new 12 or 24 months on that package.

A lot of the time, these early upgrades are offered by BT towards the end of a customer's contract. This way, the customer gets potentially faster speeds at a better price than standard while BT gets to keep another customer.

Can you add TV to broadband packages?

Yes, you can add EE TV to BT broadband packages, be that for new or existing customers.

New customers have the option to add a TV package when setting up their service, putting both broadband and TV together on one bill. It may not represent as much of a saving as opting for a pre-made broadband + TV package but it provides more flexibility of choice for TV offering.
